Humor makes your dentist visit more pleasant. Laughter releases
endorphins, which in turn acts as a calming, natural sedative.

History of the Toothbrushes:
The Chinese made the first toothbrushes of hog bristles in the
15th century.
Today, most toothbrushes are made from nylon monofilaments,
which dry quickly and resist breakage.
Soft bristles clean better below the gum line than do hard
bristles because they bend more easily.
Hard bristles can push the gum away from your teeth and expose
the cementum that covers the roots. Cementum is not a strong as
the enamel on your teeth and is more sensitive to hot and cold.
Toothbrushes should be replaced at least every two months. Worn
and frayed toothbrushes can injure your gums and don’t
effectively remove plaque.
If you have a throat infection, throw out your toothbrush and
get a new one. Old toothbrushes can keep bacteria alive and give
them another chance to infect you.
Two toothbrushes are better than one. By switching your
toothbrush after each use, you allow each toothbrush to dry out
between uses. This helps both toothbrushes last longer.
Rounded bristle tips clean better than straight cut bristles.
